As I’m sure you’ve heard us mention before, we bloggers here at OASL are what people are calling “digital natives.”  Lately, however, we’ve also been realizing that there are a number of folks out there who are being reborn digitally.

Check out this classic example:

Friend of mine and prominent vlogger, Steve Garfield, just informed me that his 82 year-old mother will be on ABC World News with Charlie Gibson in a segment about innovative retirement tonight.

Even at age 82, Millie Garfield has been blogging regularly and creating and maintaining a community of friends online – talk about being digitally reborn!  She represents one of the Internet’s oldest bloggers.

Tune in to ABC World News at 6:30 p.m. (coastal times) or 5:30 p.m. (central time) and watch for clips of Millie!  Steve will also be posting a behind-the-scenes video of part of her interview to her blog (http://mymomsblog.blogspot.com), available once the segment airs tonight.

Be sure to also follow her Twitter updates @MillieGarfield.

Congrats, Millie!
