This Could Be Next: Encouraging “Pass the Cheer” by Promoting Social Responsibility on Coffee Sleeves

I had a quick thought: What if Starbucks used the space on its holiday coffee sleeves to fully extend the message of its “Pass the Cheer” campaign by promoting donation to charitable causes? Starbucks could include a short description of each cause, its logo and Web address to encourage donation this holiday season. Perhaps each charity featured could take 10% of Starbucks customers’ donations and “Pass the Cheer” on to another charity of its choice to become a part of the chain itself. It’s a pretty simple idea but I think it would be an interesting and meaningful addition.
