Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab on “A New Approach to Capitalism in the 21st Century”

Here’s another session at the World Economic Forum that I loved. Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab lead a discussion about “a new kind of capitalism”. Gates says that companies, governments, NGOs and the media need to introduce new ways to use their “power and intelligence to serve a wider circle of people” in order “to stem global poverty and spur more technological innovation for those left behind.”

Gates quotes a previous session saying,

“It’s the intersection between a company’s principles and its commercial competence that shape the kind of business it will be.”
