Are Mac Users Jaded?

19Dec08

For one of my final projects, some classmates and I were asked by Doug Quintal (@bugsyph1) to come up with a creative strategy for Apple’s new MacBook. While going through the Zag process we came across the question, “what would you add or subtract?” The add part, no problem! The subtract part? WHAT? Apple has flaws? With only non-Mac user in our group (who had an iPod nonetheless) we could not come up with what wrong with either the MacBook or Apple as a company. iPhone and Mac users Will Wheeler and Richard Feindel were insistent that Apple was problem-free. We argued back and forth for a good 20 minutes trying to come up with what, if anything, was or could hinder the Apple brand. By the end, we just barely decided on the Genius Bar, despite its revolutionary response to customer service. Luckily, we were still able to come up with some awesome creative concepts and Ads, designed by Richard Feindel:

Very interesting to read as an employee of apple. I also think it’s really interesting that you view the genius bar as the only thing that could hinder apple. Good work!
